Still breaking records for cold temperatures, we actually had sleet this morning. It was funny to see people standing in their yards saying "it's raining ice!"
Here in Central Florida we often hear "how can you stand it - it's so FLAT". People are unhappy because they say "you can't see anything" or "there's nothing to look at". Granted the flatness takes some getting used to if you come from somewhere that has hills or mountains. I felt the same way when I moved here from upstate New York several years ago.
I finally decided to post a 365 photo blog to draw attention to the AMAZING Central Florida views. These are views that never get boring because they change day to day - even minute to minute. To make this point, all the photos here will be from within 100 yards of my house (I may cheat if something amazing catches my eye elsewhere, but I'll try to keep it really close).
You may have figured out from the title of this blog that I've been talking about the sky. Nowhere have I ever seen such a variety of dramatic clouds, storms and light shows. I hope you enjoy looking at these photos as much as I enjoy taking them.
