This Giant Flying Pig looks as though he could burn a hole through the planet with his X-Ray Vision!

Cumulonimbus Cloudscape

August 28th - Scorpion Sky

These mid - level clouds provide a foreground for the towering cumulonimbus pincer of this giant scorpion.

August 19th - Blasting for Uranium?

This explosion was a cloud although it looked a lot like smoke... It was amazing to watch it "bloom" over the course of about 10 minutes.

August 18th - Whirling Dervish

From horizon to directly overhead this whirling dervish seemed to be consuming the sky...

August 15th - Big Big Sky

Of all the sky photos I have taken over the last year, I have always come away thinking there was no way to show the total awesome grandeur that is the big picture. This photo is an attempt at that - it is actually 4 photos combined together to create this huge cloudscape.
