My kids spent the day at Epcot, and they called me up soooo excited that they had taken a cloud photo that would far surpass anything I had seen to date. I was so excited - I couldn't wait to see it!

Cirrocumulus floccus flinging hair water

These clouds formed a pattern that seemed similar to the water spray off my daughter's hair when she whipped her head back in the pool. Boy does that take me back!



Today is Thanksgiving, and I am thankful for memories like these, and the clouds that evoke them!

Stormy Skies, Striking Contrast

The effect of these bright white alto cumulus clouds  against an ominous grey backdrop of storm clouds was really striking! If you look closely you can see the precipitation in the background.

Floating Pink Pelican on a Beautiful Blue Sea

My friends know that I'm crazy about birds - in fact I see them even when they're not really there! This is a true example of my tendency for aviary hallucinations.
